2026-2027: This will be Coach McDonald's seventh full time season as the head coach for the Gators Women's Basketball program.
Over his previous six seasons leading Green River Coach McDonald as compiled 84 wins, which ranks him second all time in Green River women's basketball history, trailing only Mike Willis (238).
McDonald has coached 13 NWAC All-Region players, made the NWAC Tournament four times (NWAC 2nd Place in 2022-2023), and won the NWAC west region title in 2022-2023.
Also, during the 2022-2023 season he was named NWAC Coach of the year after engineering an 18 game win improvement from the previous season. The same season he was named West Region Coach of the Year as well.
