Tukwila, Wash. — Women's Soccer officially began their season with a win over Rogue Community College Tuesday morning at the NWAC Friendlies. 

After a scoreless first half, Natalya Huffaker got the Gators on the board with a penalty kick in the 50th minute.

Less than five minutes later it was Huffaker who assisted on a Luci Ramey goal.

GRC carried the 2-0 advantage the rest of the way, Olivia Blavka blanked the Ospreys in her first collegiate start in goal.

Green River is back in action Wednesday, August 19th for day two of the NWAC Friendlies against Southwestern Oregon Community College at 8 a.m. at Starfire.
